We are currently looking for a Research Coordinator to join xSEL Labs. In this role, you will join our growing team to assist with the planning and execution of research studies focused on (1) designing and field testing a prototype social and emotional assessment platform and (2) coordinating a Randomized Control Trial evaluating the impact of an SEL curriculum on student outcomes. 

What you’ll do…

  • Primary responsibility is to provide research and administrative assistance to the xSEL Labs research team, and to help manage the daily operations of the research projects.
  • Execute tasks in the research project plan, including organizing communications and feedback with research sites, following up to ensure high survey completion rates, organizing and setting up focus groups, and working closely with study sites to support data collection.
  • Help to recruit study participants and help with study implementation.
  • Manage and coordinate research assistants who will be following up with study sites to ensure fidelity of study implementation.
  • Assist with quantitative and qualitative data analyses.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to oversee software updates based on research study results.

 

What you’ll bring…

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in Psychology, Sociology, Education or related field
  • Familiarity with research methods in social sciences and/or education
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
    • Problem-solving and analytical capability
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
