As a Sales Development Specialist at xSEL Labs, you naturally share in our passion for education and student social and emotional development.  In this role, you will join our growing Sales team to increase awareness and demand for our product and service offerings.  

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of outreach and marketing activities.  
  • Qualify sales leads from marketing campaigns and prospecting.
  • Proactively identify, contact, and present xSEL Labs to potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services. 

What you’ll bring…

  • Bachelors in Education or Business or equivalent experience 
  • Effective listening, and communication skills 
  • Experience working with educators or equivalent passion and desire to do so
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, and a professional demeanor
  • A team player who works productively and cooperatively with a diverse group of people
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Problem-solving and analytical capability
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

A typical day in this role includes:

  • Identifying school districts who are actively engaged in implementing an SEL initiative.
  • Initiating prospecting calls and emails to school leaders to determine if they have interest in xSEL Labs’ assessment solutions.
  • Scheduling video calls with educational leaders in coordination with the sales team.
  • Participating in and leading discussions with potential customers about their social and emotional learning initiatives and offering a demo of xSEL Labs’ assessments.
